Typically practiced with slow, relaxed movements that are adaptable to individual needs, Tai Chi can provide a gently challenging workout for just about anyone, helping to relieve the effects of stress and energize tired joints and muscles. Tai Chi is a low impact exercise that promotes balance, strength, flexibility, stress relief and the principles of self-defense. This class will include 1) foundation exercises for strength flexibility and postural alignment, 2) core Tai Chi movements for whole-body coordination, and 3) self-massage for cooling down and promoting circulation.
